DEVELOPING STORY: SHOOTING IN GLOUCESTER CITY, VICTIM IN STABLE CONDITION

GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ (July 11, 2021)--There was a shooting Saturday night on the 300 unit block of Essex Street, near Burlington Street.
According to Brian Morrell, Gloucester City Police Chief/City Administrator, "The last update is the victim is in stable condition. A suspect has been identified. All other information will be released by the Camden County Prosecutors Office."
We have reached out to the CCPO for the particulars of what happened and are waiting for a reply.
CNBNews received several inquires about the incident around 10 PM Saturday night. According to the people who contacted us the incident happened between 9 PM and 10 PM. We reached out to local authorities Saturday but got no response. After repeated text messages Sunday morning from people who said the shooting occurred a text was sent to Morrell who supplied the statement above.
