Last Chance to Secure Memorial Paver for Vigil
Remembrance & Hope Vigil Planned for August 31st

The Camden County Remembrance and Hope Memorial at Timber Creek Park in Gloucester Township is offering a place for reflection to the families who have lost a loved one to the disease of addiction, showing them that they are not alone. Pavers are being offered as part of the Remembrance and Hope Memorial to honor the lives lost.

Please note pavers are available all year long but will not be completed and installed until August of each year. To be included in the 2021 vigil, all pavers must be purchased before August 1st. To purchase a paver or include your loved one in the 2021 vigil program and slide show, Click Here.

Help Raise Funds for the Ritz as They Prepare to Reopen

Please join the Ritz Theatre for a fundraising event from 12 PM to 3 PM as they get ready to celebrate their full reopening!⁠ This event will feature games, entertainment, snacks, drinks, and sneak preview performances from their upcoming Mainstage Season and Ritz Kidz Summer Theatre Camp. Join us for a live book talk on Wednesday, August 4th from 7 PM to 8:30 PM. Former Cherry Hill Mayor and CHPL Board Member Susan Bass Levin will interview author/journalist Sasha Issenberg about his new book, "The Engagement: America's Quarter-Century Struggle Over Same-Sex Marriage".

Sasha Issenberg is the author of three previous books, on topics ranging from the global sushi business to medical tourism and the science of political campaigns. He covered the 2008 election as a national political reporter in the Washington bureau of The Boston Globe, the 2012 election for Slate, the 2016 election for Bloomberg Politics and Businessweek, and 2020 for The Recount. Climb Aboard for a Battleship New Jersey Summer Tour
Take a Tour this Weekend Aboard the Historic Battleship

Guests visiting the Battleship will receive an extra hour to tour our nation’s most decorated and largest battleship! The Battleship’s Summer Tour Hours will open every day at
11 AM with the final tour departing at 4 PM, which means you can stay aboard the ship to tour until 5:30 PM.

That’s one more hour to climb inside the massive 16-inch gun turret, check out the bunks that the sailors used to sleep on, track a tomahawk missile in the Combat Engagement Center, and more!

The Board of Commissioner's Addiction Awareness Task Force hosts Recovery Encouragement Athletic Leagues (R.E.A.L.) to support individuals combating addiction.
“R.E.A.L. sports is about giving folks in recovery something healthy that they can focus their mind, body, and energy on,” Dyer said. “In addition to golf, we host R.E.A.L. yoga and other athletic leagues throughout the year.
