Camden County is holding a Virtual Public Information Center on Tuesday, June 29th to inform local residents, officials, and community with information on the Camden County Grove Street Trail Connector project. You are encouraged to participate by providing comments at the meeting, by mail, or e-mail. Click here to learn more. A guided introduction to paddling on the Cooper River. In a small group setting participants will learn the basics of kayaking under the guidance of a certified instructor and the Camden County Environmental Educator. All equipment is provided by the Camden County Department of Parks. Classes will launch out of the Cooper River Yacht Club in Collingswood and will be 1.5-2 hours. Click here to learn more. Mayor Susan Shin Angulo and the Cherry Hill Township Council welcome residents and members of neighboring towns to join them for the inaugural Independence Day 5K on July 4th, 2021 at 8 AM. Tickets are a $10 donation per person and proceeds go to the on-going restoration of the Battleship, a non-profit museum and memorial. The Battleship will open her decks at 7 PM. The fireworks shows are projected to begin at 9:30 PM. Music, food concessions and a cash bar for adults will be available. Guests can bring blankets to sit on the deck. Golf is about giving folks in recovery something healthy that they can focus their mind, body, and energy on,” Dyer said. “In addition to golf, we host R.E.A.L. yoga and other athletic leagues throughout the year. Our goal is to help make the recovery process a little bit smoother, and to help guide these individuals into a healthier, sustainable lifestyle.” The next R.E.A.L. Yoga Session is June 29th.
