Tim Kerr Charities, Inc began when running enthusiasts signed up to participate in the inaugural, signature event, The Tim Kerr Run, which took place in the Summer of 1989 in Avalon, New Jersey.
In 1995, the vision of the organization quickly became to produce multisport events for families at the highest possible levels of challenge, safety, and integrity, and to make lasting and positive contributions to participating athletes and to our community at large.
Since those early days Tim Kerr Charities, Inc, has grown to be widely regarded as the Mid-Atlantic’s premier family run organization, which provides an array of events for all ages and ability levels across the multisport continuum.
As a non-profit 501(c)(3), Tim Kerr Charities, Inc not only makes a difference for participating athletes by providing unique, challenging events and memories to last a lifetime, but also gives back to our community by supporting many local, regional, and national charities, which provide a full spectrum of support for citizens in need. The majority of race fees are tax deductible to the fullest extend allowed by law.
