On June 22, 2021. Age 57. Of Gloucester City. Survived by his wife, Robin Lynn Battersby (nee McDonald); children, Joseph L. Battersby (Tiffany) and Kaylee L. Battersby; step-children, Adam Delmar, Ian Delmar and Allisha Plotcher (Ryan); grandchildren, Blake L. Battersby, Reed Plotcher and Lennon Plotcher; brother, James Battersby; nieces, Jessica Hamer and Emma Battersby and nephews, Jake Battersby and Nicky Battersby. 7512913 Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Margaret Battersby; his brother, Timothy Battersby and his beloved Lilli.

Joe was a graduate of Gloucester High School class of 1982. He worked many years as a bricklayer, most recently for Platinum Services in Sewell, NJ. He was an avid fisherman, who loved Philly sports teams and Da Bears! Joe most enjoyed trips to Aruba.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Thursday evening July 1st, from 6 to 7:30 PM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Family and friends will be encouraged to share their stories on Joe starting at 7:30 PM in the funeral home. Interment will be private.
