Investigation Into Shooting in Atlantic City Continues; One Killed, Three Wounded

ATLANTIC CITY- The investigation of a shooting on Sunday that killed one man and wounded three others continues and the victims have been identified, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner announced.

Azaiah Grissom, 23, of Atlantic City was pronounced deceased at Atlanticare Regional Medical Center City Campus after the  shooting. Sharif Williams, 25, Mushin Faulkner, 31, and Zyshon Baker, 22, –all of Atlantic City– were wounded in the shooting and remain hospitalized.

FThe ACPO Major Crimes Unit is investigating a fatal shooting where one male was fatally shot and three others were wounded, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner said.

At 6:06 p.m., Sunday June 20, 2021, Atlantic City Police Officers responded to a scene on Atlantic Avenue where four men were shot–one fatally.

Upon arrival officers locate four males who were shot at the 1700 block of Atlantic Avenue. All four males were transported to Atlanticare Regional Medical Center City Campus. One of the males has died from his injuries.

This is a cooperative, ongoing investigation between the ACPO Major Crimes Unit and the Atlantic City Police Department.
