Anna Jean Murphy, of Brooklawn, age 91

Brooklawn – Surrounded by her loving family, at home, Anna passed peacefully on June 21, 2021, at age 91. (nee Matz) Loving and devoted wife of 49 years to the late Gerald R. Murphy, Sr. Loving mother of Michael (Marie) Murphy, Debbie Mason, Joan (late Frank) Keith, Gerald (Sherle) Murphy, Jr. and Joseph Murphy. Predeceased by her daughter Margaret (late Michael) Ribchinsky. Cherished grandmother of Jason (India), Adam (Candice), Jerry, Brianna, Joe (Megan), Kim (Dan), Michael John, Emily, Michael (Jacque), Ryan (Jackie), and Colin (Arielle) and great-grandmother of 15. Predeceased by her 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Anna was a longtime resident of Brooklawn where she served on the Brooklawn PTA and a member of the American Legion Post 72 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed bingo, ceramics, spending time at Driftwood Campground. Anna took pride in her family’s Christmas Eve celebrations and always loved her “special Santa”. She was a fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and horse racing.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday morning, June 28th, from 9 to 10:15 AM at St. Joachim Parish, Annunciation Church, 601 W. Browning Rd., Bellmawr. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM in the church. Interment Woodbury Memorial Park, West Deptford.
