GLASSBORO, NJ - Senior Tim Hutchison and juniors Mike Husni and John Maldonado have been named the tri-captains of the Rowan football team for the 2021 season, which will mark the Profs' return to competition since the 2020 season was canceled due to the pandemic.

The finance major was named a Rowan Scholar-Athlete of Distinction in 2019 and was inducted into the Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society.
"There were quite a few deserving players to choose from, but Tim, Mike and John were elected by their teammates. Our upperclassmen, and particularly these three players, have done a tremendous job of keeping the team together during these turbulent and trying times," said head coach Jay Accorsi. "I am excited to see them lead Prof football back to the 'Boro' this Fall."
The Profs will welcome back seven starters on offense and five starters on defense when they return to action this Fall, with the 2021 schedule set to be announced during the week of May 24.
