(April 19, 2021)--Natalie Franceschini, (photo) the daughter of Vince and Kathy Kent Franceschini, along with three of Natalie's friends, was in a serious automobile accident on April 7. The Franceschini family are former residents of Gloucester City and graduates of Gloucester High School. Grandparents Vince Sr. and Dot Franceschini, both deceased, were the owners of Jim's Pizzeria at 142 N. Broadway, Gloucester City.
The following statement about the accident was posted on a GoFundMe page.
On the night of April 7th, Natalie Franceschini and her three friends were in a terrible car accident while driving home from an ice cream parlor. The girls sustained severe injuries requiring Natalie to be airlifted to Cooper University Hospital where she and her friend received emergent surgeries.
Natalie is currently healing in the intensive care unit at Cooper. The Franceschini family certainly has a long and difficult journey in their physical and emotional recovery from this horrific accident. Please consider donating to help ease their burden and allow Kathy, Vincent, and Vinnie to fully attend to Natalie’s healing during this difficult time. While not all are in a position to donate financially, just know that sharing the link to this fundraiser is so very much appreciated and felt by our family.
The Kent girls and their families thank you all for your love, support, and prayers – and ask that you continue to keep all of the girls in your thoughts, as their journeys in recovery have only just begun.
She was traveling with three of her friends when the accident occurred. She was airlifted to Cooper Trauma Center, Camden City with serious internal injuries. Presently, she is in intensive care, according to friends of the family.
With love, Ronnie, JoAnne, Barbara, Nancy, Kelly, and their families
