MAPLE SHADE, NJ --Chief Christopher Fletcher announces the arrest of one individual for child pornography charges in Maple Shade after a six month long investigation.
Joshua Lee GAGER, 29, of Maple Shade, was arrested on May 13, 2021 and charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Distribution of Child Pornography, Possession with Intent to Distribute Child Pornography, and Possession of Child Pornography.
The Maple Shade Police Detective Bureau received information from the Milford Police Department in Connecticut regarding the accused, GAGER, who was attempting to converse and meet with juvenile females. During the course of the investigation, it was determined that GAGER was in communication with mostly juvenile females ranging ages 10 to 15 years old. Some of the conversations led to an exchange of pictures which ultimately led to sexual conversations. GAGER was also found to be in possession of child pornography, which was sent to another social media user.
The Maple Shade Police Department was assisted in the investigation by the Burlington County Prosecutors Office, the Milford Police Department and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
GAGER was remanded to the Burlington County Jail pending his court appearances.
