DEPTFORD TOWNSHIP, NJ (May 31, 2021)--On May 29, 2021, officers from the Deptford Township Police Department responded to the report of a domestic disturbance at a residence on Pasadena Avenue in their municipality. As officers were responding to the scene, multiple gunshots were heard. Upon arrival at the scene, officers determined that an incident had occurred where a Michael F. Dorazo, 41, of Glendora, N.J. had forced entry, brandished and discharged a handgun, and subsequently fled the residence on foot into the surrounding neighborhood. Camden, N.J. – A man has been charged in the fatal shooting of a 21-year-old man in Camden, according to Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez. Raymond Ashley, 31, of Camden, has been charged with one count of first-degree Murder, one count of second-degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, one count of second-degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, and one count of second-degree Certain Persons. Police responded to a ShotSpotter activation on South Octagon Road around 1 a.m. on May 22. When they got to the area, they located Isaiah Taylor, 21, of Camden, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead from his injuries. CAMDEN, N.J. – A Salem County, New Jersey, man was sentenced today to 57 months in prison for illegally possessing a handgun, Acting U.S. Attorney Rachael A. Honig announced. Rahim Seals, 28, previously pleaded guilty by videoconference before U.S. District Judge Noel L. Hillman to an indictment charging him with one count of possession of a firearm by a previously convicted felon. Judge Hillman imposed the sentence today by videoconference. According to documents filed in this case and statements made in court: On Dec. 27, 2019, while Seals was walking in Salem City, detectives from the Salem City Prosecutor’s Office attempted to arrest Seals on an outstanding warrant.
