Rowan's Grlica, Lechliter, Scioli and Cohan Earn All-NJAC Lacrosse Honors

PITMAN, NJ - Rowan's Julia Grlica, Ashley Lechliter, Erin Scioli and Elise Cohan have been named to the NJAC Women's Lacrosse All-Conference Team, as voted on by the league's coaches. Grlica, Lechliter and Scioli earned first-team honors while Cohan was an honorable mention selection, as the four players received All-Conference recognition for the first time in their careers.
Grlica, a senior midfielder, leads the team in assists with 14, while scoring a career-best 10 goals this season. A team co-captain, she notched season-highs of three goals on two occasions, versus Stockton and Kean.
Lechliter, a senior attack player, topped the team in scoring with 30 goals to go along with six assists. The team co-captain closed out the regular season tallying 17 goals in the final three games, including a career-high seven goals in the win at Kean.
Scioli, a sophomore, started all nine games on defense for the Profs and totaled eight ground balls and six caused turnovers. In the recent win at Kean, she picked up two ground balls and caused two turnovers.
Cohan was the team's second leading scorer with 23 goals and four assists as she made her return to the lineup after missing the shortened 2020 season with an injury. The junior attack player scored a career-high six goals in a win over Kean and tallied five against Stockton.
The third-seeded Profs (3-6; 2-2) open play in the NJAC Championship Tournament on Wednesday, April 28 at second-seeded TCNJ. With a win, Rowan would advance to the NJAC Championship game, to be played on Saturday, May 1 at the site of the highest remaining seed.
