Melvyn Waldo, of Atco; Services Friday

Maple Shade – On March 5, 2021. Formerly of Atco. Survived by his devoted and loving caregivers at Palace Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and the Arc of Camden County.

Melvyn was born in Philadelphia, PA and attended Temple University. He attended Reformed Episcopal Seminary for one year. 7407389_fbs Melvyn worked with the Occupational Training Center since 1989 and worked in a clerical position for the City of Philadelphia and did janitorial work at a childcare center. Melvyn lived at L&S Rest Home in Atco. He was a regular patron of many local establishments. Mel was a caring and gracious gentleman who often would brighten your day with a greeting and kind words. In his younger days, he enjoyed visiting the City of Philadelphia.

Relatives, friends, caregivers and the Arc of Camden County are kindly invited to attend his Catholic graveside service on Friday, March 26 at 1:30 pm at Waterford Memorial Park: 629 Pestletown Road, Waterford Works, NJ 08089.
