Lowe's Store Robbed, Suspect Arrested

 

MAPLE SHADE, NJ (March 31, 2021)----Maple Shade Police Chief Christopher Fletcher announces an arrest during an overnight burglary and theft at the Lowe’s Home Improvement Store, 2834 Route 73 North, Maple Shade, NJ.

Maple Shade Police responded to the Lowe’s Home Improvement Store on 3/31/21 at approx. 2:50 AM in response to a burglary alarm coming from the front door. Police contacted employees on scene, and learned that the suspect had entered the store through a rear door, stole a nail gun, and fled through the front door. The store was not open to the public at this time.

Maple Shade Police with assistance from Moorestown Police quickly located the suspect at the nearby Wawa located at 600 Route 38 East in Maple Shade. Lawrence D. Dunn II, 37, of the 1200 block of Morton Street, Camden NJ, was arrested for burglary and theft. The subsequent investigation also revealed Dunn had an existing active arrest warrant for failure to appear related to a previous shoplifting arrest. Dunn was lodged in the Burlington County Jail pending a future court appearance.
