Suspect Who Robbed Gas Station in Gloucester City at Knifepoint Arrested

Howard Johnsons Hotel Heavily Damaged by Fire; No Injuries, Residents Displaced

BLENHEIM, NJ --March 3, 2021, at approximately 0333 Hrs. Gloucester Township Police Dispatch received several calls for a reported fire at the Howard Johnson Hotel, 832 North Black Horse Pike in the Blenheim Section of Gloucester Township, New Jersey. Arriving officers observed heavy fire from the roof. Officers began to evacuate occupants as numerous fire companies arrived on location. Multiple fire companies operated on the fire which incorporated 2 of the 3 buildings.
The fire was placed under control at approximately 0530 hrs. There were no injuries and a numerous amount of residents were displaced. State Highway Rt. 168, The Black Horse Pike, was shut down for an extended time between Almonesson and Brown Ave. The fire is currently under investigation by multiple agencies.
