Rowan's Hainsworth and Donaldson Chosen NFHCA Scholars of Distinction

BROCKPORT, NY – Rowan University field hockey players Abby Hainsworth and Melissa Donaldson were selected  National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III Scholars of Distinction.

The NFHCA Division III Scholars of Distinction program recognizes student-athletes who have a 3.90 cumulative grade point average or higher through the first semester of the 2020-21 academic year.  There were over 450 student-athletes that were chosen Scholars of Distinction.



Melissa Donaldson

This is the second straight year that Hainsworth and Donaldson received the honor.   Hainsworth is majoring in civil & environmental engineering and Donaldson is enrolled in health and physical education.  The two student-athletes were also named to the NFHCA National Academic Squad.

The NFHCA Division III National Academic Team Award will be released on Monday, March 29.
