Albright College undergraduates pursue research over winter

READING, PA (01/29/2021)-- Albright College students pursuring a variety of academic disciplines are conducting Albright Creative Research Experience (ACRE) projects over the winter Interim session of 2021.Through ACRE projects, undergraduate students conduct research or pursue creative endeavors outside of regular semester sessions. Student proposals that are accepted by a faculty review board are rewarded with college stipends. Local students pursuring ACRE research this January include:

Evan Carr, of Bordentown, N.J. (08505). A graduate of Bordentown Regional High School, Carr is studying business administration/economics track at Albright while working on an ACRE project with Associate Professor of Business Accounting and Economics, Lisa Wilder, Ph.D., on "A Decomposition of US Urban-Rural Racial Wage Gaps."

Cecelia Ensell, of Merchantville, N.J. (08109). A graduate of Camden Catholic High School, Ensell is studying psychobiology/behavioral at Albright while working on an ACRE project with Professor of Psychology, Susan Hughes, Ph.D., on "The Impact of Perceived Physical Resemblance on the Perception of Close Relationships."

Karl Fey, of Haddonfield, N.J. (08033). A graduate of Haddonfield Memorial High School, Fey is studying history at Albright while working on an ACRE project with Professor of History, Guillaume de Syon, Ph.D., on "The Best Worst Tank in the Army: How Human Agency Shaped the Development of the M4 Medium Tank."

ACRE students work one-on-one with faculty mentors to pursue scholarly projects each summer and winter. Many collaborative teams of students and faculty present their research at academic conferences and publish their results in professional journals.

Becker College announces Dean's List for Fall 2020

WORCESTER, MA (01/29/2021)-- Becker College is proud to announce the Dean's List for the fall 2020 semester. The Dean's List recognizes all full-time students (24 or more credit hours earned for the academic year; 12 minimum each semester (September through May) whose term grade point average is 3.50 or higher with no grade below a B- and no incomplete (I) or withdrawal/failing (WF) grades.

Dillon Freeman of Burlington, NJ, is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Interactive Media Design, Game Design.

Micheal Wilson of Clementon, NJ, is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
