James H. Gentile, "Jimmy Tomato," of Bellmawr, on January 31, 2021, surrounded by his loving family he passed away peacefully. Age 64.

Loving son of the late Harold "Duke" and Helen (nee Porter) Gentile. Dear brother of Carol Price (Peter III), and the late Robert Gentile (Janet Johnson). Devoted Uncle of Robert Gentile, Jr., Peter Price IV (Melissa), Cathleen Price, Christine Price, and Crystal Price and great uncle of Peter V, Aubree, Ayden, Paxton. Nephew of Shirley Dougherty. Grandson of the late Louis and Elva Porter. Preceded in death by his faithful companion "Missy."

Jim was a lifelong resident of Bellmawr, NJ. He was a member of the Brooklawn American Legion Post 72 for 25 years. His hobbies and interests include gardening his tomatoes in which he generously gave to many of his friends and family, and his love for the Phillies, Eagles and horse racing. Jim also enjoyed traveling to Phillies Spring training in Clearwater.

There will be a viewing on Thursday, February 4, 2021 from 9-11am at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral Service 11am at the funeral home. Interment Bethel Cemetery, Hurffville.
