Thursday, January 28, 2021
Ice Fishing 101 February 5, 2021 – 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
The Ice Fishing 101 is part of the NJ Division of Fish and Wildlife’s “Outdoor Family of New Jersey” (OFNJ) program. OFNJ programs are designed to provide a welcoming environment in which to learn outdoor skills for both families and individuals.
About the Virtual Program: Participants will meet up on GoToWebinar for a live presentation to get introduced to the sport of ice fishing by Fish and Wildlife Biologist and ice fishing enthusiast Keith Griglak. Each winter if there is fishable ice you can find Keith on it fishing with his family or by himself. This virtual workshop will cover the basics of ice fishing including ice safety, staying warm and dry, targeting specific fish species, ice fishing equipment, bait selection, and technique.
