Gloucester City Police Lt. Stephen Burkhardt Retires After 25 Years

(Gloucester City, NJ)(January 28, 2021)--The Gloucester City Police Department today announced the retirement of  Lt. Stephen Burkhardt.

We would like to congratulate Lt. Stephen Burkhardt on his retirement today.Lt. Burkhardt retired with 25 years of service to the residents of Gloucester City.Throughout his career, he was a Field Training Officer, Emergency Vehicle Operations Course Instructor at the police academy, K-9 Handler, Patrol Sergeant, Detective Sergeant, and Lieutenant.Lt. Burkhardt was well respected in the policing field.We wish him well on his future endeavors.

 

Replacing Lt. Burkhardt is Sgt. Jason Flood at a salary of $119,657.

Assuming the position of sergeant is Officer Blaise O’Donnell at a salary of $109,977.
