Camden City Seniors Receive First Dose of COVID-19 Vaccine

CAMDEN CITY,NJ--Camden City seniors received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at First Nazarene Baptist Church on Thursday morning. The vaccinations came via a partnership between Project H.O.P.E., the Board of County Commissioners, Cooper’s Ferry Partnership, and the City of Camden.
“The city has faced enormous challenges over the course of this pandemic. While vaccinations are available at sites throughout the county and the city, it is imperative that we get these services directly into the heart of heavily-impacted communities,” said County Commissioner Jon Young. “In addition to making vaccines available, we will need the public’s help in communicating with their family and friends that these vaccines are safe, effective, and critical to moving forward.”
