The 15 members of the Senate Republican caucus signed the letter to Sweeney. CBP officers discovered liquid ketamine inside 10 bottles of hair care products from Poland. PHILADELPHIA – U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers seized more than one gallon of liquid ketamine Saturday in Philadelphia. The parcel arrived from Poland as an express air shipment and manifested as dermatological skin and hair care products. The parcel, which was destined to Boca Raton, Fla., contained 10 plastic shampoo and conditioner bottles and body wash. CBP officers tested the contents with a handheld elemental isotope analysis tool and identified the contents as ketamine hydrochloride. According to the DEA, ketamine is a Schedule III non-narcotic drug regulated under the Controlled Substances Act. The report by James’ office requested data from 62 nursing homes, roughly 10 percent of the state’s facilities. It indicates that the state Department of Health did not count nursing home residents who contracted the virus, were sent to hospitals and died there as part of the nursing home death toll. Lady Lions defeated Lindenwold 58 - 12 on Tuesday and Thursday beat Lindenwold 50 - 10 in the Lions Colonial Conference debut behind seniors Crystal Johnson, Allyson Velez and Emily Keith. The Lions debut wins, came under the cloud of Covid Restrictions. No parents (not even seniors) who were allowed to watch their children play. Camden City, N.J. (January 28, 2021)– Detectives are asking for the public’s help identifying and locating the driver involved in a Jan. 27 fatal hit-and-run in Camden, according to Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez. Police responded to the 2600 block of Mt. Ephraim Ave. shortly before 10 p.m. for a report of a pedestrian hit by a vehicle. When they arrived, they located a man suffering from injuries to the head. The victim, identified as Lawrence Lloyd, 46, of Camden, was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead around 10:30 p.m. A witness told officers the driver who hit Lloyd drove off after the incident. The New Jersey Business & Industry Association continues to oppose legislation that will result in consumers and businesses paying more for auto insurance due to litigation costs. The “New Jersey Insurance Fair Conduct Act,” also known as the “bad faith” bill, is being voted on by the Senate today. It proposes to create a private cause of action for consumers regarding perceived unfair or unreasonable practices by insurers.
