Two People Killed in Traffic Accident on Christmas Day in Voorhees Township

VOORHEES TWP. NJ (December 25, 2020)--Two people were killed in a traffic accident  on Centennial Blvd., Voorhees Township on Christmas Day, December 25, according to Captain Carmen Del Palazzo, spokesman for the Voorhees Township Police Department. 

Captain Del Plazzo released the following statement,

A 2021 Volvo XC70, operated solely by a Cheltenham, Pa. resident, Larry A. Shaw, 68, was traveling eastbound on Centennial Boulevard, when it struck a 2016 Honda CRV operated solely by a Berlin, resident, Carol C. Marks age 84, who was traveling Westbound on Centennial Boulevard.

Voorhees Police responded to the scene at 1:21 PM. When they arrived they were informed by Emergency Medical Personnel that Shaw had succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Marks was airlifted to Cooper Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries and pronounced dead by medical personnel.
