ALLENTOWN, PA (12/14/2020)-- Issued less than a week before Election Day, Episode 8 of the Muhlenberg Mules Podcast talks to two wrestlers, including William Moore of Bordentown (08505), who were heavily involved in the political process.
Billy Moore '22 and Ramiro Osuna '22 were field organizers in the campaign of Lisa Scheller, the Republican challenger to Democrat incumbent Susan Wild in the race for a seat in the United States House of Representatives from Pennsylvania's District 7. Moore had been working on the campaign since January, while Osuna came on board in September.
In the podcast, the two talk about the long hours they worked in support of Scheller, including door-to-door canvassing of potential voters, and the importance of voting. They even compared a political campaign to a wrestling match and discuss prospects for the upcoming wrestling season.
