6 Things to Inspire You to Write a Great Essay

(December 1, 2020)--"Writing an essay is so easy!", said no one ever. If writing a great essay is easy, then sure, climbing Mount Everest with no safety measures is easy as well. When it comes to writing, you'd find that the process is as unpredictable as the weather.

One minute, you're like a cat on steroids, churning out words and sentences with the speed of light. But just when you think you have it all figured out, you'd be hit right in the face with writer's block.

Believe it or not, this second scenario is pretty common for every essay writer. This probably explains why most college students simply outsource their essays to the best essay writers online instead of going through the writing struggle themselves. However, if you've decided to go down the brave path of writing your essay yourself instead of hiring an online essay writer, it's important to note that you are not alone.

Sure, you may be feeling pretty uninspired right now but the good news is that you can draw inspiration from even the strangest places and people.

Looking for inspiration for your essay? Here are some things that could inspire you to write a jaw-dropping essay:

Some Me Time

The outside world can be really overwhelming. As a college student, you're faced with constant lectures, projects and your personal life all at once. In no time at all, your brain would be crammed just like a laundry basket on Saturday mornings. How then can you gain inspiration for your essay when you're practically drowning under the pressure of school and social life?

It's simple. Take a breather. You could disconnect from the outside world and spend some time alone with your thoughts. Don't worry about school, friends, family or the date you were supposed to go on two weeks ago.

Just focus on breathing and clearing your head. You could also try out a couple of relaxation exercises and routines. A massage or  trip to the spa could really work wonders.

In no time at all, you'd feel rejuvenated and refreshed enough to write an award - winning essay.

Music

Music is an effective escape route for a lot of writers out there. Whether you enjoy listening to loud metal music or you're a sunshine and roses kind of music fan, you'd always find the right songs to awaken the inner Sidney Sheldon in you.

Now, this doesn't necessarily work for everyone. For some writers, music is just a needless distraction that adds to the chaos in their heads.

However, if you've never tried using music for inspiration before, you could start with something soft and gentle. Let the lyrics or melody flow through you and inspire you. When it comes to using music for inspiration, a lot of writers prefer genres like Indie or classical music. However, you don't necessarily have to start with these genres. You could start off with something different that suits your style and personality.

Talking to Your Friends

You're probably already snorting with derision at this suggestion. What on earth can your friends do about your writer's block? However, your friends are not just goof balls that you joke around with.

They could also be a major source of inspiration for your essay without even knowing it. When you reach out to your friends and have a wholesome conversation with them, you could draw writing inspiration from their experiences.

What have they been up to? Has anything new happened to them? It doesn't necessarily have to be a long conversation. You could get inspiration for your essay within the first five minutes of dialogue.

Magazines

Let's face it: magazines aren't exactly full of great essays that you can draw inspiration from. However, it's easy to find at least one good article or story in there that'd tickle your imaginative buds.

Finding a good story in a magazine is just like striking gold and we'd tell you why. By studying the writer's style, tone and rhythm, you'd be able to find inspiration.

The story may not exactly be related to your essay topic. However, the core writing elements that the writer used could inspire you towards writing a breathtaking story of your own.

New Places

You've probably been told to visit new places a couple of times but it was most likely a suggestion aimed at creating fun for you. Well, it would interest you to know that new places are not always for having fun or quelling boredom. Sometimes, they could inspire you to write a great essay.

For instance, as an Arts Major, there's no need to hire an essay writer for you when you're feeling too uninspired to write. Instead, you could visit an edgy museum or art gallery in your spare time.

Not only will you have fun, you could also draw inspiration from one of Picasso's paintings at the same time. It's a perfect win-win situation!

The Internet

The Internet is so powerful, it's not surprising that the entire world went crazy when Ralph broke it in Wreck-it-Ralph 2. Here, you can easily find already written essays that will inspire and guide you throughout the entire writing process.

But that's not all. Even if you aren't interested in writing your essay yourself, a quick "write my essay" Google search can whip up the best free essay writers online.

This way, you won't have to go through all the hassles of finding a good essay writer to help you out with your essay.

Final Thoughts

When it comes to essay writing or any other kind of writing at all, it's completely normal to feel uninspired or droll about it. However, even when you're at your lowest point, you can easily find inspiration in the strangest places.

If you're looking for inspiration to write a great essay, you could start by taking time off or listening to music.

If these activities don't work for you, then it may be time to try out the other tips listed above.

Good luck, scholar!
