Is The New Jersey Transit River Line Coming To Your Town?

The GCL corridor traverses Gloucester and Camden counties including the communities of Glassboro, Pitman, Sewell, Mantua Twp., Deptford Twp. Wenonah, Woodbury Heights, Woodbury, Westville, Brooklawn, Gloucester City, and Camden. The proposed line would restore passenger rail service along an existing rail line using light rail vehicles similar to the NJ TRANSIT River LINE.

A 45-day public comment period on the Draft EIS will start on November 2, 2020 and end on December 17, 2020. As part of the EIS public participation process, the Glassboro-Camden Line (GCL) Project Team will hold two (2) virtual public hearings via Zoom, where interested members of the public can provide and listen to oral comments concerning the Proposed Action and information contained in the Draft EIS. The public hearings will occur on:

  • Tuesday, November 17, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
