Lower Township MUA Hydrant Flushing November 16th through November 20th

The Lower Township M.U.A will be performing the Semi -Annual cleaning / flushing of the Water Distribution System.

The cleaning / flushing will begin on Monday, November 16^th, 2020 and continue 24 hours a day until Friday, November 20^th, 2020. You may experience a temporary discoloration of the water during cleaning / flushing. Residents in the area being flushed may experience a temporary discoloration in their water while flushing is in progress. We encourage you to check the water for discoloration prior to doing laundry. You may wish to draw a large bottle of water for cooking and drinking prior to the flushing date. If you experience low pressure after the cleaning / flushing please check your faucet screens for trapped particles. If you have any questions please call our office at 609-886-7146 extension 3.
