CNBNew Editor's Note: (Gloucester City, NJ)--At long last, the City of Gloucester City has a new website. The one the city has been using was introduced in 2007-08. The new site is supposedly more user friendly. Mayor Daniel Spencer released the following message to the public about the website.

Welcome to the new Gloucester City website! Please be sure to sign up for “Stay Connected” notifications to stay informed about the activity in the City.
The purpose of this new website is to improve our methods of communication and citizen engagement. I and the Council Members have worked diligently for you, the residents of this community, this past year and are open to your suggestions on how we can be even better. We are always looking for new committee members on our City committees and organizations. Reach out to your council member if you are interested in participating on a committee.
This site has been developed for use on all devices and to be user friendly to access all forms and resources the City has to offer. The Municipal Building is open as always to provide personal service if you choose. In today’s environment, more and more residents depend on their phones and computer devices for real time information, and we intend to provide using this website and the notifications processes.
We continue to evaluate our City ordinances and zoning compliance program to reflect a community friendly environment, and improve our housing stock. This topic was considered a top challenge during our meetings with residents last year.
Return to this site often, as we will continue to complement the site with easily accessible information and we will also add more favorable methods of conducting City business.
