Charles R. Webb “Bob” November 19, 2020 Haddon Township, formerly of Gloucester City – passed away on November 19, 2020. Age 90.

Born in Gloucester City, NJ, he is the son of the late Clarence U. and Mary Ellen (McLaughlan) Webb. Charles is survived by his daughters; Mary Ellen Norkis (Charles), Joan T. Costello, Barbara Miller (Matthew); 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He was also predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Ellen Webb (Flynn) on October 9th, 2015.

Bob proudly served his country in the US Navy and the Navy Reserves from 1949 to 1955. He retired from ARCO after a long career as a machinist, union officer and as a tax accountant. Bob graduated from Gloucester Catholic High School where he played on the basketball and baseball teams and later became a volunteer assistant basketball coach. Raised in Gloucester City, he fostered a special fondness for the people and area throughout his life.

A celebration of his life will be deferred until that time which family and friends may gather together safely. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Bob to the Msgr.
