Rose Barrett, of Gloucester City, Employed at Jefferson Cherry Hill Hospital

Of Gloucester City, formerly of Pennsauken, NJ. Passed away on October 4, 2020. Age 69. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Rose (DeMarco) Crusco. Rose is survived by her husband of 50 years, John J. Barrett, Sr. (Jack); son, Michael Barrett (Andrea Pallies); grandson, Edward Barrett; brother, 7163036_fbsFrank Crusco (Shelagh); sister, Joyce Crusco (Richmond); brother-in-law, Noel Conklin, Sr. and family and her many friends from various walks of life. Rose was also predeceased by her son, John J. Barrett, Jr. on October 6th, 2018.

Rose worked as a secretary with Jefferson Cherry Hill Hospital. She enjoyed cooking and overfeeding her family and friends. She loved collecting jewelry and angel figurines. Her more recent hobbies were crocheting and making jewelry, she took great pleasure making items for everyone she knew. Later in life she became involved in yoga, meditation and various spiritual activities and gatherings. Rose will be most remembered for her limitless generosity and compassion of which she showed to strangers and loved ones alike.

Funeral services will be celebrated on Friday, October 9th @ 11 am in the McCann- Healey Funeral Home, 851 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City, where family and friends may visit from 10 to 11 am. Burial will be held at a later date.
