Sicklerville Woman Murdered in Camden City, Prosecutor's Office Investigating

Camden City N.J. – Detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of a Sicklerville woman on Tuesday night, according to Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer and Camden County Police Chief Joseph Wysocki. Screen Shot 2020-09-30 at 20.36.52

Police were called to the intersection of 8th St. and Walnut St. in Camden shortly before midnight for a report of a woman lying in the road. She was transported by EMS to an area hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The victim was identified as Ashley Allen, 33, of Sicklerville. Detectives said the medical examiner determined Allen was killed by a gunshot wound to the head.
