Wheels of Souls Clubhouse Scene of Fatal Shooting

Camden City, N.J.(Sept. 20, 2020)-- – Detectives are searching for the person or persons who fatally shot one man and severely injured another inside the Wheels of Soul clubhouse in Camden early Sunday morning, according to Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer and Camden County Police Chief Joseph Wysocki.
Police responded to the motorcycle clubhouse on the 800 block of Princess Ave. around 1:45 a.m. for a report of a shooting inside the business. When they arrived, they found two men suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
One man was transported to an area hospital where he remains in critical condition, the other victim was pronounced dead at the scene. That deceased victim has been identified as Jermaine Wilkes, 38, of Philadelphia.
