Camden Detectives Investigating Murder

Camden, N.J. – Detectives are investigating the events that led to a man being fatally shot late Wednesday evening, according to Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer and Camden County Police Chief Joseph Wysocki.
The man arrived at an area hospital suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest around 11:15 p.m. on Sept. 23. The victim, identified as Carl James, 19, of Camden, was pronounced dead from his injuries shortly after midnight on Sept. 24.
Detectives continue to investigate the events that led up to the shooting.
