Rowan's Track & Field Coach Adamson to be Interviewed on WEE Radio Tuesday


NEW YORK, NY (August 3, 2020)--– Rowan University’s women’s country and track & field coach Derick “Ringo” Adamson will be interviewed live on the Wee Radio Network on Tuesday, Aug. 4 from 7-8 p.m. Screen Shot 2020-08-03 at 20.20.00  

He is the guest on Second Base, the all-sports program catering to a Jamaican/Caribbean clientele, at and hosted by Dale Brown and Aubrey Campbell.  Adamson has coached the Profs for 14 seasons and they have won 14 New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Championships, three in cross country and 11 in indoor and outdoor track & field.

He was chosen the NJAC Coach of the Year 16 times.  His athletes have earned numerous All-Conference, All-Region and All-America honors.  Adamson was an All-American in the steeplechase as the 1980 national champion and competed at the Olympics in 1984 and 1988 in the marathon for Jamaica.
