Fatal Shooting in Camden City, 27-Year-Old Dead

Camden City, N.J. – Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that happened near the intersection of Kolo St. and Sheridan St. in Camden Monday night, according to Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill Mayer and Camden County Police Chief Joseph Wysocki.

Police received a ShotSpotter notification for the 1600 block of Kolo St. around 11 p.m. When they arrived, they found Michael Twiggs, 27, of Camden, lying near a walkway suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Twiggs was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
