CAPE MAY- Today, Congressman Jeff Van Drew announced that Cape May County Airport will be receiving an Air Improvement Program grant (AIP) totaling more than $2.7 million (more than $2.3 million previously unannounced). The AIP will be used for improvements to the runway and runway lighting at the airport.

Van Drew also announced two more additional Air Improvement Program Grants (AIP) in South Jersey. Included in the grants were $11.2 million for runway improvements at Atlantic City International Airport, and $1.4 million for Millville Municipal Airport in Millville for improvements to the Apron portion of the airport.

“This is a huge win for our area,” said Congressman Van Drew. “This grant will allow for much-needed improvements to the Cape May County airport and I am ecstatic for the positive impact this will have.”
