Thursday was a very busy day with several conference calls amongst the Mayors of Camden County and South Jersey. There are many conversations regarding helping our bars/taverns/restaurants to get open as of June 15th for outdoor dining.
In Gloucester City we have a Council committee headed up by Councilman Dayl Baile to meet with each interested establishment who will submit a plan for approval. Of course, the biggest concern is making sure the area being used will be safe for diners and employees.
The Primary Election in New Jersey is set for July 7th. Every registered Democrat and Republican will automatically receive a Vote By Mail ballot by June 12th. It can be filled out and returned postage free. There will be limited places open throughout the county.

PLEASE BE COUNTED GLOUCESTER CITY BY COMPLETING THE 2020 CENSUS! This is very important to us as a city as it determines our federal and state grants and state aide.
The Governor will be issuing guidance on opening pools and swim clubs within the next 48-72 hours. Next week there will be further relief on the number of people allowed at indoor and outdoor gatherings. Malls remain closed for now-they are not considered part of the non-essential retail. Big Box Stores with outside entrances will be able to reopen.
Information on reopening Libraries will be forthcoming in the next week.
GOOD NEWS: There are no new cases to report in Gloucester City today!
Please continue to stay safe and healthy.
God Bless You All🙏🏻
Mayor Dan Spencer
