WASHINGTON, D.C. – In the wake of current vigilante violence and the death of African-American citizens at the hands of police departments across America, the Transformative Justice Coalition and the Voting Rights Alliance will hold a free national virtual town hall, “We Won't Be Silent...Register & Vote 2020!,” on Monday, June 1, 2020, 7 p.m. EDT.

Attorney Benjamin Crump, Prince George’s County State’s Attorney, Aisha Braveboy and President of the Transformative Justice Coalition, Attorney Barbara Arnwine, will join the family of the late Second Lieutenant Richard Collins III - lost to a racial hate crime in Maryland and Dameon and Monica Shepard - victims of an armed vigilante mob in North Carolina, to form an outstanding panel of voting, political, civil rights, social justice and criminal justice reform leaders, to discuss the importance of voter registration, voting and the election of fair and just prosecutors and judges in America.

During this forum, viewers will be encouraged to turn their “anger into action” and support, via their vote, law enforcement authorities who reflect the communities’ values. Additionally, attendees will be empowered to hold elected officials and law enforcement authorities accountable for violence within the African-American community.
