Moorestown Police Investigating Fatal MV Crash on Route 38 Today

MOORESTOWN, NJ (May 30, 2020)--The Moorestown Police Department is investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash that occurred on Saturday, May 30 at approximately 12:30 am at the intersection of Rt. 38 and Pleasant Valley Ave. 

A NJ Transit bus was making a left turn from Rt. 38 westbound on to Pleasant Valley Ave. southbound when it was struck by a passenger vehicle traveling eastbound on Rt. 38. 


The NJ Transit driver and one passenger were transported to Cooper Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The three occupants of the passenger vehicle, two females and one male were deceased at the scene.


Officers are in the process of determining the cause of the crash and attempting to identify and notify the families of the deceased.
