NJ Dept. of Labor has New Web Portal

(Camden City, NJ) – The New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development has launched a new web portal that allows New Jersey residents to contact the Department of Labor directly for assistance with unemployment claims and applications.

To submit a message, residents can now visit the “Need Help” page from the drop-down menu on https://myunemployment.nj.gov. By choosing “send an email,” visitors can then submit a message through the Department’s new online form.

“New Jersey has had more residents file for unemployment in the last several weeks than we have had in entire years, and it can be difficult to navigate that system even when volume is typical,” said Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli, Jr. “This is an excellent addition to the unemployment portal which will help Camden County residents gain access to the answers they need in a timely manner.”

For more information regarding unemployment benefits, how to apply, or to use the new contact form, please visit https://myunemployment.nj.gov.
