When A Beloved Pet Passes Away

Dawn Watson/CNBNews Contributor

(Gloucestercitynews.net)(March 21, 2020)--When a beloved pet passes away the grief is very real. We ache and the pain is overwhelming. It doesn’t help that non-pet owners do not understand this void.

Whether your pet passes away from old age, an accident, or must be euthanized due to advancing age, extreme aggression, or illness you have a right to grieve! Do not let others demean you for your emotions!

Rainbow BridgeThere are support groups both online, via phone, and in person that may help you. However, becoming accustomed to the loss you are feeling will be with you for a very long time.

One way to pay homage to your beloved pet is to adopt another—not to replace your pet, but to create a new bond for a homeless animal. Please adopt—don’t shop.

If you have questions about this or any other dog-related issue, please call or text me at 856.981.8957 or email brotherofthewolf@live.com. There is never a fee for phone or email consultation.

Wado udohiyu, (thank you very much in the Cherokee language)
