Jacob Nocentino of Woolrich Awarded Bloomsburg University Alumni Legacy Scholarship

BLOOMSBURG, PA (12/16/2019)-- The Bloomsburg University Alumni Association awards Alumni Legacy Scholarships each year to current Bloomsburg University students who are a child or grandchild of a Bloomsburg University graduate. The scholarship has been a longstanding Good news 6tradition of the Alumni Board of Directors, and has provided $216,059 in scholarships since 1998. BU alumni can register their child or grandchild every fall that their student is registered for Spring classes at the university.

Jacob Nocentino, a computer science / mathematics major from Woolwich Twp, was one of 12 recipients who received the 2019 legacy scholarship. Nocentino was selected via random drawing and will have $1,000 applied to their spring 2020 tuition bill. The alumnus, their student, and their immediate family will attend the Alumni Awards Celebration on May 2 as guests of the Bloomsburg University Alumni Association Board of Directors.
