WILKES-BARRE, PA (11/26/2019)-- Wilkes University mechanical engineering student, Tyler Weatherby of Sewell, N.J., 08080, presented a senior project on Nov. 23. The event was attended by faculty, friends and family. Engineering students in the University's College of Science and Engineering are required to complete a senior project as part of the requirements to complete their degrees.
Weatherby was part of the student team who worked on the project entitled, Robotic Snow Blower. The students created a robotic snow blower that can run throughout a snow storm to keep the driveway and sidewalks clean. Weatherby worked with faculty advisor William Greiner, faculty of practice in mechanical engineering.
