Rams Head Baseball Coach Announces Resignation; Cites Business Promotion for the Decision

UPDATED:

Tussey posted the following statement regarding his resignation on his Twitter page; "This is one of the toughest decisions I have had to make, but today (Nov 15, 2019) I have officially stepped down as Head Coach of Gloucester Catholic. having the opportunity to run the top baseball program in the history of New Jersey baseball has been a true honor. I unfortunately am unable to dedicate the time needed to run the program at the level it deserves.

To Mr. Murphy, Mr. Beckett and the entire school, thank you for giving me the chance and the guidance to run our program.

To my coaches and players, I take a life time of memories that I will forever be thankful for. Over the past four years together we have accomplished four Conference Championships, three South Jersey Championships ands two State Championships. Thank you Rams,

Adam Tussey

GLOUCESTER CITY NJ (Nov. 18, 2019)--Gloucester Catholic head baseball coach Adam Tussey met with players on Friday to tell them  he was resigning from the post. Tussey told members of the team he is stepping down because he was offered a Area sports 2promotion by his employer.
