Jefferson Health Hosts Camden County Veterans Medal Award Ceremony

Voorhees, NJ -- On Thursday, November 7, Jefferson Health hosted its 18th Annual Veterans Medal Award Ceremony for Camden County veterans, whether currently serving or honorably discharged. This year, 19 veterans — eight Army, seven Navy, and four Air Force — received a Camden County Military Service Medal. Of those honored, nine served in Vietnam, two in World War II, and one in Korea.

Camden County’s Board of Freeholders, and Office of Veterans Affairs, was joined by representatives from the Jewish War Veterans Post 126 in Cherry Hill; Samaritan Healthcare and Hospice; and the Jewish Family & Children's Service of Southern NJ.
