Gloucester Township Police Collected 194 lbs Of Unused And Expired Medication


Gloucester Township Police released the following statement regarding the amount of unused medication that has been collected over the past few months. 

Is your medicine cabinet full of expired medications you no longer use? Your medicine is for you. What’s safe for you might be harmful for someone else. You can dispose of your expired, unwanted, or unused medicines through our medication drop box here at GTPD headquarters.

We would like to thank our residents who turned in 194 pounds of unused and expired medication over the past few months.  Disposing of medication Screen Shot 2019-11-03 at 12.51.25properly saves lives!

GTPD collects medication 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week at our Medicine Drop Box located in the watch desk area at the police department and Mon-Thurs at the entrance to the municipal building, 1261 Chews Landing Rd. Gloucester Township, NJ 08021
