KUTZTOWN, PA (11/01/2019) Kutztown University's College of Visual and Performing Arts will host an open house 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 6, in Schaeffer
Auditorium. Parents of high school students, visual and performing artists hoping to expand their knowledge of craft, high school seniors interested in VPA majors and high school juniors and sophomores looking to get a head-start on their college selection process are encouraged to attend.
Admissions personnel will be available to answer questions regarding the application process, programs of study and transfer credits. Submit your KU application during the event to waive the application fee. Explore a range of VPA major options and contact program of study contacts directly for full portfolio and audition requirements to participate in on-spot reviews. No portfolio review or audition is required for admission for those interested in majoring in art history, cinema, television and media production, communication studies and social media theory and strategy.
Registration is required for portfolio and audition reviews. Pre-registration closes Monday, Nov. 4. Those who miss the deadline can arrive at the VPA open house before 9 a.m. to complete the registration card as a walk-in registrant.
