LINDENWOLD PD ALERT: Increase in Theft of Motorcycles


LINDENWOLD, NJ (October 8, 2019)--The Lindenwold Police Department announced this week that there has been an increase in motorcycle thefts.

Coordinated suspects are utilizing a stolen van/truck in order to steal motorcycles that are parked and are both secured with locks or left Crime news 3unsecured. The suspects are casing the area to determine where motorcycles are being parked and then coming back to the area once they have procured a vehicle to transport the stolen motorcycles. Resident should contact police immediately if they observe suspects loading a motorcycle in to a van or truck or suspect that a vehicle appears to be scouting a location.

The most recent thefts have occurred during the overnight hours and apartment complexes are being targeted. Anyone with information should contact Det. Ed Slimm (856) 784-7566 x409.
