PHILADELPHIA PA--Cherry Street Pier hosts a birthday celebration to mark its first year as a public space, and also pays tribute to the Pier’s 100th anniversary.
Cherry Street Pier, which opened on October 12, 2018, has hosted over 19 art exhibits, 103 free events, and has seen over 250,000 visitors in its inaugural season.
To commemorate Best of Philly’s Best New Public Space’s birthday, DRWC invites you to a special celebration that will include numerous free activities including family fun face painting, balloon magic, and circus performances. Scrumptious cake pops will be provided by Olisa’s Kitchen (while supplies last).
The Food Trust Market will be open for visitors to fill their grocery totes with fresh produce, baked goods, and more.
WHEN: Saturday, October 12th
10:00 AM – 2:00 PM: The Food Trust Market, #CherryStreetMkt.
11:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Face painting with iFacePaint, Baloon twisting with Myer Design, and juggler/tightrope wire/stilt walker activities with Philadelphia School of Circus Arts.
12:00 PM: Cake and Cake Pops by Olisa’s Kitchen while supplies last.
