Gloucestercitynews.net--(Glassboro, NJ) - GloucesterCounty Freeholder Heather Simmons participated in ShopRite's "Help Bag HungerDay" on Tuesday, Sept. 17 as part of their Partners in Caring initiative.

The ShopRite Partners inCaring initiative promotes ending hunger by supporting more than 2,000 charities ranging from soup kitchens, food pantries, homeless shelters, senior citizen centers, and a variety of other organizations helping to fight hunger.  

Freeholder Heather Simmons said, “Hunger has a serious impact on many in our communities.  I am proud to help promote awareness to end hunger and to stand with my friends and neighbors at ShopRite to raise funds to help feed those in need.”
